Started
Welcome to Hollywood Souvenirs! Our goal is to provide you with the best selection, prices
and service when purchasing with us. Our store carries all types of Hollywood items , and
we work hard to keep all merchandise in stock, available to ship to our customers
immediately (Monday through Friday). Spend a few minutes reading this page and you'll be
ready to place your order in our online store at Hollywood Souvenirs. It's simple, quick
and fun -- and no waiting in line or looking for a place to park. We offer more value than
conventional retailers--useful product information, extensive selection. Now, let's get
started.
How to Shop
To shop for items in our store, you may browse or go directly to items or categories of
your interest. Here's how:
1) Browse by category. Let's say you are looking for a mug. Simply click on the
"MUGS" category link on the left. By clicking on any of the titles on the next
page, you will linked to the product pages of images and details.
2) Search by keywords. We have developed an extensive search feature that allows you to
enter a keyword of the item you wish to buy. Click on the "Search" button and
you can either use the Quick Search field to search for a word anywhere in a product title
or description. In the advanced section of the search page, search terms can be entered
into multiple fields in order to create very specific criteria for a search (for instance,
to search for a "Marilyn Monroe" t-shirts type in the box: Marilyn Monroe
t-shirts, and click on: submit search).
Using the Shopping Cart
Once you've found an item that you want to purchase, you must place it in your shopping
cart. By doing so, you are not obligated to purchase it; just like a conventional
retailer, you may remove it from your shopping cart at any time (more on that later).
To place an item in your shopping cart, simply type the quantity you wish to purchase in
the quantity box and click on "buy". At this point, you'll simply be adding the
item to a list that may be changed at any time, or cancelled if you decide not to purchase
anything.
Now you can continue browsing around the store to find other items you might be interested
in, or click on "Go To Checkout Now" to place your order. Remember you can
modify your shopping cart at any time.
Completing Your Order
When you are finished shopping, check the items in your shopping cart and then proceed to
our Billing and Shipping Information page by clicking on the "Go To Checkout
Now" button. Uunlike other on-line stores you are not required to log in. You
will be asked to enter personal information, billing and shipping address, daytime
telephone number, e-mail
address, method of shipping and credit card information.
On the Billing and Shipping Information page you will also have the option of setting up
additional Ship-to addresses. Here you can keep multiple Ship-to addresses on hand in case
you wish to have your order delivered somewhere other than your home - this can be your
office, a vacation home, a friend or family member's home, anywhere!
Security
We offer secure transaction processing for VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS, orders
using the standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. If your browser does not support
SSL, we recommend that you update your browser to the latest version of Netscape Navigator
or Internet Explorer. We use the Stronghold server, which features RSA public key
technology and an uncompromised - full 168-bit symmetric encryption.
Although there can never be a guarantee of absolute security for credit card transactions,
we believe this method to be more secure than many common credit card uses--giving your
credit card to a waiter in a restaurant, for instance. However, if you do not wish to send
your credit card number over the internet under any circumstances, we certainly
understand. In that case, when you get to the screen with the summary of your order, you
can simply print the page from your browser and FAX it, along with your credit card and
shipping information to (213) 747-9245.
Sending Your Order
After you've fully completed the required information, and you've reviewed the information
for accuracy, click on the button "Go To Checkout Now" to finish the order
process.
All orders are reviewed by a customer service representative. Upon reviewing your order
you will receive a confirmation via email within a few hours. If you do not receive a
confirmation within 12 hours, it is possible that your order was not properly transmitted.
If you are unsure whether we have your order, please send us an email to webmaster@hollywoodsouvenirs.com. Please print in the subject
"Check Order Status". In the body of your letter please type your name, email,
and phone number.
